Privacy Policy
Xiangqi Practice is an app for learning Chinese chess (xiangqi). We built it so that your learning stays on your device. This policy explains what the app stores and what it does not.
Summary
- An account is optional. Without signing in, everything stays on your device and nothing is sent to us.
- If you sign in, we store your email address and your learning progress on our server only to back it up and sync it between your devices. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for advertising.
- No advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, no chat.
Data stored on your device
- Learning progress and settings (lessons completed, stars, exam results, review schedule, daily goal, language, sound, and a daily study log for the weekly report: number of lessons, reviews, puzzles and games, and minutes of active use per day). Without an account this data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Usage statistics: an anonymous log of in-app events (for example "lesson started", "hint used") kept only on your device to measure whether lessons are working. It contains no name, contact or device identifier and is never uploaded automatically. If you choose to send it to us (Settings → Export trial metrics), you decide what to share.
Deleting the app removes all of this data. You can also clear your progress at any time in Settings → Reset progress.
Optional account
You can sign in (Settings → Account) to keep your progress when you change or reinstall your phone, in one of three ways: Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or your email address (the app sends a one-time 6-digit code; there is no password). With Apple or Google we receive only your name and email address from them (with Apple you can choose "Hide My Email", and we then receive a private relay address); we never see your Apple or Google password. If you sign in:
- What is stored on our server: your email address (and your name if Apple or Google provides it); your learning progress (the same data listed above: lessons, stars, exam results, review schedule, practice games and the mistakes kept for review); the time of the last sync and the app version. Usage statistics are not uploaded.
- Why: only to back up and sync your progress. We do not send marketing email.
- Where: our server runs on Supabase (Supabase, Inc. processes the data on our behalf), in its Singapore region. Data is encrypted in transit; each account can only read its own progress.
- How long: until you delete the account. Settings → Account → Delete account deletes your account and the progress stored with it immediately; progress on your device is kept. Signing out keeps the account; you can also email us to delete it.
- Accounts are for adults. A child can learn without an account, or use a parent's account.
Lesson content updates
To fix or add lessons without a new app version, the app occasionally (at most every 12 hours) downloads a signed list of lesson files from our storage on Supabase, and any lesson file that changed. The request contains no account, progress or device identifier; like any internet request, the storage provider sees your IP address. If the download fails, the app uses the lessons built into it.
Purchases
Paid lesson packs are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their privacy policies; we never see your payment details, name or email. The app only receives confirmation of which packs you own.
Device features
- Reminders: if you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. No push service or server is involved.
- Read aloud: lesson text is spoken using your device's built-in text-to-speech.
- Sharing: when you tap Share on a certificate or the weekly report, the image or text is passed to your device's share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you choose a destination.
- Export / import progress: only happens when you tap it, using your clipboard.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and works fully without an account. Accounts are intended for adults; we do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has signed in with their own email, contact us and we will delete the account.
Changes
If a future version sends any other data off your device, we will update this policy before that version is released and describe exactly what is sent.

Cờ Tướng Thực Hành là app học cờ tướng. App được làm để việc học của bạn nằm trên máy của bạn. Chính sách này nói rõ app lưu gì và không làm gì.
Tóm tắt
- Tài khoản là tuỳ chọn. Không đăng nhập thì mọi thứ nằm trên máy bạn, không gửi gì cho chúng tôi.
- Nếu đăng nhập, chúng tôi lưu email và tiến độ học của bạn trên máy chủ chỉ để sao lưu và đồng bộ giữa các máy của bạn. Không bán, không chia sẻ, không dùng cho quảng cáo.
- Không quảng cáo, không SDK phân tích hay theo dõi của bên thứ ba, không chat.
Dữ liệu lưu trên máy bạn
- Tiến độ học và cài đặt (bài đã học, sao, kết quả sát hạch, lịch ôn, mục tiêu ngày, ngôn ngữ, âm thanh, và nhật ký học theo ngày cho Báo cáo tuần: số bài, lượt ôn, thế cờ, ván và số phút đang thao tác mỗi ngày). Không đăng nhập thì chỉ lưu trên máy, không gửi cho chúng tôi.
- Thống kê sử dụng: nhật ký ẩn danh các thao tác trong app (ví dụ "bắt đầu bài", "dùng gợi ý"), chỉ lưu trên máy để đo bài học có hiệu quả không. Không chứa tên, liên hệ hay mã định danh thiết bị, không tự động tải lên. Bạn chỉ gửi cho chúng tôi nếu tự chọn (Cài đặt → Xuất số đo bản thử).
Xoá app là xoá toàn bộ dữ liệu này. Bạn cũng có thể xoá tiến độ bất cứ lúc nào trong Cài đặt → Xoá tiến độ.
Tài khoản tuỳ chọn
Bạn có thể đăng nhập (Cài đặt → Tài khoản) để giữ tiến độ khi đổi máy hoặc cài lại app, theo một trong ba cách: Đăng nhập bằng Apple, Đăng nhập bằng Google, hoặc bằng email (app gửi một mã 6 số dùng một lần, không có mật khẩu). Với Apple hoặc Google, chúng tôi chỉ nhận tên và email từ họ (với Apple bạn có thể chọn "Ẩn email của tôi", khi đó chúng tôi nhận một địa chỉ chuyển tiếp riêng); chúng tôi không bao giờ thấy mật khẩu Apple hay Google của bạn. Nếu đăng nhập:
- Lưu gì trên máy chủ: email (và tên nếu Apple hoặc Google cung cấp); tiến độ học (cùng các dữ liệu kể ở trên: bài đã học, sao, kết quả sát hạch, lịch ôn, ván thực hành và các nước sai giữ lại để ôn); thời điểm đồng bộ gần nhất và phiên bản app. Thống kê sử dụng không được tải lên.
- Để làm gì: chỉ để sao lưu và đồng bộ tiến độ. Không gửi email quảng cáo.
- Ở đâu: máy chủ chạy trên Supabase (Supabase, Inc. xử lý dữ liệu thay mặt chúng tôi), khu vực Singapore. Dữ liệu được mã hoá khi truyền; mỗi tài khoản chỉ đọc được tiến độ của chính mình.
- Giữ bao lâu: đến khi bạn xoá tài khoản. Cài đặt → Tài khoản → Xoá tài khoản xoá ngay tài khoản và tiến độ lưu kèm; tiến độ trên máy vẫn giữ. Đăng xuất thì tài khoản vẫn còn; bạn cũng có thể email cho chúng tôi để xoá.
- Tài khoản dành cho người lớn. Trẻ em học được mà không cần tài khoản, hoặc dùng tài khoản của cha mẹ.
Cập nhật nội dung bài học
Để sửa hoặc thêm bài mà không cần bản app mới, thỉnh thoảng (nhiều nhất 12 giờ một lần) app tải một danh sách file bài học có chữ ký số từ kho lưu trữ của chúng tôi trên Supabase, cùng các file bài đã thay đổi. Yêu cầu này không chứa tài khoản, tiến độ hay mã thiết bị; như mọi yêu cầu qua internet, nhà cung cấp lưu trữ thấy địa chỉ IP của bạn. Tải không được thì app dùng bài có sẵn bên trong.
Mua trong app
Gói bài trả phí được bán qua Apple App Store hoặc Google Play. Việc thanh toán do Apple hoặc Google xử lý theo chính sách của họ; chúng tôi không thấy thông tin thanh toán, tên hay email của bạn. App chỉ nhận xác nhận bạn đã sở hữu gói nào.
Tính năng của máy
- Nhắc học: nếu bật nhắc hằng ngày, app đặt thông báo cục bộ trên máy, không qua máy chủ.
- Đọc thành tiếng: dùng giọng đọc có sẵn của máy.
- Chia sẻ: khi bấm Chia sẻ thẻ xác nhận hoặc Báo cáo tuần, ảnh hoặc chữ được chuyển cho bảng chia sẻ của máy; không gửi đi đâu trừ khi bạn chọn nơi gửi.
- Xuất / nhập tiến độ: chỉ khi bạn bấm, qua bộ nhớ tạm (clipboard).
Trẻ em
App dùng được cho mọi lứa tuổi và chạy đủ mà không cần tài khoản. Tài khoản dành cho người lớn; chúng tôi không cố ý tạo tài khoản cho trẻ em. Nếu bạn thấy trẻ em đã đăng nhập bằng email của chính các em, hãy liên hệ để chúng tôi xoá tài khoản.
Thay đổi
Nếu phiên bản sau gửi thêm dữ liệu nào khác ra khỏi máy, chúng tôi sẽ cập nhật chính sách này trước khi phát hành phiên bản đó và nói rõ dữ liệu nào được gửi.
